A nice update
We have been looking for a while on how to make our wood burning fireplace look more contemporary. This insert turned out to be the perfect solution. It just slide right into our current fireplace and was hooked up. Great product, service and shipping.

Gas Log Set
The monessen gas log set assembled easily and functioned properly. It easily heated two large rooms in our house. I followed the directions exactly when it told how to size and distribute the small packet of rock wool but it failed to cover the area. There are many large bare areas remaining.it would be more realistic if the logs covered more of the metal burner or at least include enough rock wool to hide it a little better. I love the logs but recommend buying an extra bag of the rock wool to spread around.
